I Attached a CAT5 Ethernet cable to the scanner's Ethernet port and to the router Configured Kyocera multifunction printer for scanning on the network Set its IP address to 192.168.16.8 Created entries for the client computers in the source and destination address books on the scanner Installed Kyocera File Scanning Utility and Address Book Utility on each client computer I can ping the scanner from the client computers Created a folder entitled, "My Scans" in each user's "My Documents" folder Configured the File Scanning Utility to direct scanned files to the "My Scans" folder Software properly configured but the scanner is reporting, "Unable to find destination PC" Issue probably is that a port on each client computer's software firewall needs to be opened No information online so I am hoping that an Expert might have already solved this issue. I have a Microsoft Small Business Server domain with 9 clients and a Kyocera KM-2050 multifunction printer/copier/fax/scanner attached to the LAN. Remedy: Check the connection of connector. Causes: Poor contact in the connector ter-minals. ![]() ![]() Highly reliable, with an impressive 150,000 page preventive maintenance schedule and OPC drum. The printer board PCB does not re-spond 120 s after the power is turned on. Designed for any business looking for a productive multifunctional system, the KM-2050 offers standard network print and copy functionality, and the capability to add an optional scan system and fax system to meet any business needs. Issue arises with hostname or IP addresses in source and destination address book entries. Description: Printer board PCB communication problem. ISSUE: Receive error, "Unable to find destination PC", when trying to scan to a client computer on the domain.
